To appease the folks using bona fide chocolate, we won't use the "c-word" unless it's real. The strawberries were giant and the chocolate-like covering them was like a WWI helmet.

Just So You Know - The chocolate is much harder than you might expect. The chocolate is not thin and fudgey like when you make them fresh - the chocolate is like protective armor - remember these puppies are traveling thousands of miles and strawberries aren't known for their heartiness. The strawberries are giant which seems like a good thing, but sadly, the flavor wasn't as good as the smaller strawberries you are accustomed to eating. The strawberries were reasonably fresh but there were definitely some that were starting to spoil a bit.
